Dr. Usman Rana graduated from University of Saint Petersburg , Russia in 1998. He came back to Pakistan in the year 1999 after completing his internship in a known hospital of Russia . Then he joined Federal Government Services Hospital , Islamabad for polishing his skills and worked over there for one year.
But he did not limit his studies to this extent, He continued studying and received advanced diploma in Orthodontics from Manila Central University in 2002-2003. And also received certificate course in implants conducted by STRAUMANN in 2006. He has recieved advanced training in Implantalogy from Warwick University UK. He also attended a lot of other courses in General Dentistry and Prosthodontics in Pakistan as well as abroad.
He is an active member of Pakistan Dental Association, Russian Dental Association, and also American College of physicians and surgeons. Professionally he is in private practice in F-10 Markaz, Islamabad since 2001. He created an enhanced patient experience apart from a traditional restorative practice and recently received national media attention from (PTV) Pakistan Television Network.
Coming to his leisure time activities, being a Dental Surgeon, he does not have that much spare time but what time he gets he does utilizes it fruitfully. He likes swimming, jogging and reading books of known writers is one of his favorite hobbies.
